Developing Linguistic Competence and Critical Thinking Skills Through Cooperative Learning: An Assessment

چکیده

This study aimed to assess the effectiveness of cooperative learning method in developing linguistic competence and critical thinking skills students. All subjects were taught lessons using lecture discussion approach alternately. The pseudo-experimental utilizing repeated measures design was used study. T-test compare mean scores on pretest/posttest achievement tests. found out that there is a significant improvement students with use learning. gain has significantly improved Findings show both methods can develop students, but higher score as compared lecture–discussion method. Under competence, difference under not lecture-discussion skills, no between two groups.
